THE ROLE:
We are hiring a manufacturing engineer to take us from the first prototype to mass production and automation. You will be responsible for assembling the initial proof of concept and working with top tier suppliers to create a high-yield production process. You will be expected to be hands-on in the lab and to create assemblies, processes, and operations that minimize cycle time and maximize performance. You intuitively understand how the products around you are made and have been on the production floor when things go wrong. You have a rolodex of suppliers and have leveraged them to build hard things. There is no one job listing that has developed our product; however, prior experience in consumer hardware with displays, antennas, PCBAs, and a host of PSAs would set you up for success.
