THE ROLE:

You will take our designs from proof of concept to prototype and mass production. You will be responsible for schematic capture, board layout, analog circuit design, and extensive testing and debugging. You have ideally shipped multiple electronic products through the NPI phases and are comfortable with the concepts of EVT, DVT, and PVT. If you know the smell of skin singed on a soldering iron and have pulled your hair out trying to debug a crosstalk or desense issue, we want to talk to you. If you believe that hardware development should be as fast and easy as software development, and you are interested in solving a grand challenge, you may be a good fit. REQUIREMENTS & ATTRIBUTES:

• 5+ years of experience
• BS or MS in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or related field
• Altium, KICAD, or Cadence experience
  • Schematic capture, component creation, multilayer layout (6+ layers with controlled impedance)
• Exceptional test and debug skills
  • Comfortable with equipment like oscilloscope, four quadrant power supply, source measurement unit, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, electronic loads etc
  • Knowledge of safe grounding, isolation, and debugging techniques
• Experience with tuning and measuring intentional radiators
• Experience working with a firmware team and running or modifying scripts to accelerate bring-up.
• A good understanding of circuit primitives especially transistors. You know about a body diode, understand leakage, and have intuition for discovering hidden errors in design and manufacturing.
• Experience with microprocessors, switching power supplies, and communication buses is a must.
• A willingness to combine mixed-signal design techniques to creatively solve problems.
